Teenagers are constantly bombarded with pressure to act, achieve and do certain things in order to feel they are significant in the world. At _free Student Ministries all student grades 7-12 are free to be authentic, accepted and loved for who they are and challenged by the transformative grace found in the gospel. Follow us or email us to keep up with what is going on.

_free Nights

_free nights are 1st are 3rd Wednesdays every month and are a time that our studnts all come together for the biggest night of the week. From crazy games, to awesome worship and a short talk about the gospel and person of Jesus. These nightst are for any student, from the most religious student to one who has never stepped foot in a church...and would never want to.

At _free Student Ministries, we believe that life is best lived in community. We offer Student LIFE Groups to build into these communities. These groups meet in homes of host families on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays every month. These groups dive deeper into the gospel and the message we talked about at _free Nights. This is a safe place for students to wrestle honestly and openly with the gospel, life and what is means to be a young man or young woman in the world today. All this is done in a community that is loving and accepting, guided by a student on the Student Ministry Team and an adult leader.

_free adventures

Teenagers have a natural desire to live life to the fullest and to seek adventure and new experiences. We believe that this desire is God given and should be experienced alongside mentors who guide our students to live a life to the fullest that God intended. Because of this we believe we are free to go and experience things in the world. From mission trips, cultural experiences or wilderness adventures we go on both trips as a whole and individual Student LIFE Group trips. Find all the information here.

Student Ministry Director

I have been the Student Ministry Director since the summer after I graduated from college in 2015. before that I was at Mount Vernon Nazarene University where I studied youth ministry and business. I love going outside for just about anything. Riding bikes, climbing, running, ultimate frisbee and even just exploring something random. I love Columbus, the Crew, the arts, the music, the food (oh man the food), I have found that we have nothing that special about our city but the people make it incredible and that is the reason I chose to live here.  I love both cooking and eating and would love to get a meal with you!
